Basically this guy is doing what Muslims have done for several years now- taken the Westerners’ sense of fair play and used it against him. The way it works is that you tell the Westerner that he’s not being fair- as fairness is a core value- he will bend over backwards to attempt to prove he is fair. The Muslim will then use this position of weakness to attempt to extract as many concessions as possible. The paradox is that the Muslim is only able to claim Islamophobia precisely BECAUSE we care. If we didn’t care then such a strategy would not work. The good news is that many Aussies like myself increasingly don’t give a shit about claims of discrimination. They are a desparate tool to obtain political leverage and they must not be allowed to work. The bottom line is that if Western countries really were intolerably hostile to Muslims they they would pack up and move to countries that share their values. They don’t because they’re full of shit
Ellen Degenerate is a loser and so are those who watch her show
Ellen Degenerate is pleb-tier entertainment. She’s not even remotely funny or witty in any way. It seems like she would appeal to <90 IQ drones who just wanna see a bunch of plastic people with shiny teeth jumping up and down. She’s probably popular in nursing homes or places where people dribble into their cups
Distributism- the middle way
When discussing economics the modern temptation is to adopt an all or nothing view. In other words- there is either the unfettered operation of the free market or there is Communism. Whilst it is accepted by most people that Communism is a bad idea for the allocation of resources because it runs contrary to human nature, the same criticism is not directed to the idea of unfettered free markets. In other words, if Communism won’t work because people are greedy then surely that same greed is the Achilles Hell of unfettered capitalism.
Yes unfettered capitalism is preferable to Communism- anything is, but that does not mean that there is not a middle path- one which uses the fundamental science of markets within the constraints of a system that is directed towards a profoundly moral end
I have long maintained that both big business and big government are constraints on freedom because big governments create onerous regulations that only big businesses are able to afford- leading to the choking of small family businesses. Small business and small government go hand in hand- both are required for maximum freedom (as well as the moral virtue of the citizenry, the absence of which leads to the corruption of economics). We are created in the image of God, it is a truly evil situation that exists at the moment which increasingly forces fathers to be either serfs of large companies or the public “service”.
Distributism, which is based on Catholic social teaching will be dismissed by trendy thinkers as a theocratic solution to complex problems of resource allocation but people often forget that the Catholic Church holds the world record for the longest continual civilisation. The Church had an extraordinary period of peace which ran from the 300s under the Roman Emperor Constantine to the 1600s with the disruption of Martin Luther. I think it’s fair to say that the Church has a a lot of credibility when it comes to civilisation.
Because I’m fundamentally a lazy bastard and a “conceptualiser” I simply used Wikipedia as my reference for the concepts embodied in distributism and I found the following general ideas
- Pope Leo XIII stated that people are likely to work harder and with greater commitment if they themselves possess the land on which they labour, which in turn will benefit them and their families as workers will be able to provide for themselves and their household. He puts forward the idea that when men have the opportunity to possess property and work on it, they will “learn to love the very soil which yields in response to the labor of their hands, not only food to eat, but an abundance of the good things for themselves and those that are dear to them.”. In other words people need to have an emotional investment in economic output; they need to feel like they are part of something greater than themselves- this idea of self-actualisation (as Maslow would call it) has come back into fashion especially when you read press reports of millennials being increasingly unhappy with being cogs in a machine (surprise, surprise it’s dehumanising!)
- GK Chesterton summed up the philosophy as “three acres and a cow”
- Distributism is against the private banking system and its reliance on usury- favouring Government regulation to establish national banks and promoting credit unions. Oy Vey!
Basically it favours the family as the central unit over the individual. It recognises the minimal condition that the family should own a house and land and then what they do with that is up to them. In a sense it is similar to the welfare safety net although far less precarious. It encourages family stability. Whatever money you make by working the land, you get to keep. God did not create everyone equally in terms of ability so under this system there will of course be income inequality as is the case under every system- that’s life but wouldn’t it be great to have a system that doesn’t rely on ponzi schemes or usury (kicking the can down the road) to succeed? I can only think of one (((group of people))) who would lose under such an equitable system
Aussie kids fall behind Kazakhstan and Slovenia
The Australian reported that Australian kids have fallen behind in global rankings for year 4 and 8 maths and science. Aussie kids may be innumerate and lack knowledge of science but there is always a silver lining- at least they know more than other kids about their genitals! It’s the way forward as Australia embraces the “Asian Century”

Our immigration program is ruining social trust and corporate culture
There are a multitude of studies that show that not only does mass immigration from radically different cultures weaken social trust between groups but even within one’s own group. One of the reasons that Anglo countries thrive is because of the expectation that someone you don’t even know will do the right thing by you. When I use Paypass at the pub to purchase a drink on a Friday night, I don’t feel like I need to be checking the screen to make sure the bartender is not entering a higher figure and pocketing the difference.
It is reasonable to state that a country is a reflection of the values, morals, characteristics and genetics of the people within that landmass. In Australia, as with any country, if one imports people from say the Arabian Peninsula then Australia will become less an Anglo country and more Arab. Multiculturalism has in Australia resulted in us having a weaker Anglo identity as can be seen in even something as simple as the neutralisation of our accents in the last 20 or so years.
On Saturday 26th November, the declining Fairfax empire decided to actually conduct some journalism on Caltex franchises screwing their workers over with wages. Unfortunately as with most of the politically-correct Fairfax empire, you have to read between the lines to get a clear picture of how our immigration program has lead to these problems.
For the uninitiated, Australia runs an unsustainable welfare program called the pension in which the older generation- which lives longer and longer- gets carte blanche to steal money from those trying to make a living and raise families. Many of these boomers live in $1m houses (inflated by immigration, super investments and favourable tax treatment of property) but somehow find it completely reasonable to force their children and grand-children to choose between renting a box or taking out a mortgage on a loan for a house in a crappy location between two cities just to have enough to survive. If this injustice is not bad enough, they expect to be paid by this generation to sit on their arses on couches in these $1m homes. The Government makes the case that because young people aren’t popping out enough kids that we need to import people from all corners of the globe to finance this large ponzi scheme. At the moment, Australia imports an amazing 1% of its population each year in new immigrants- cities are crowded, congested and miserable. The baby boomer generation has to be amongst the worst to have ever existed.
Anyway the following quotes in this article are quite revelatory:
Sohaib is one of thousands of Caltex service station workers who work night shifts, putting themselves in harm’s way for as little as $13 an hour, which is less than half the legal rate…
…The next day his family in Pakistan were visited by four armed men. He is now fearful of speaking out to authorities or the media in case the threats of violence against his family are carried out.
He says, “In Pakistan, it costs $50 to kill someone. Life is cheap.”…
…Chakkour says the various changes to the Caltex system over the years resulted in a lot of older, predominantly Anglo, franchisees exiting the system and new, mostly Indian and Pakistani franchisees coming in…
…Fairfax has obtained numerous timesheets and pay records that appear to show employees at Aurangzieb Rana’s sites being paid as little as $13 an hour, in cash…
Aurangzieb Rana has denied any allegation of wage fraud. He says he was estranged from other members of his family and otherwise had no connection to companies within the Rana group…
…A former Caltex worker, who requested anonymity, says in the store he works, he is paid $13 an hour to do the work of three people.
He says the franchisee, who he requested not be identified, operates a side business which involves sponsoring workers at a cost of $40,000 per sponsorship fee.
He says if a worker is sick or gets injured on the job, they aren’t covered. He says some of the stores employ Australian workers who work the morning shift and are paid correctly….
There ya go, we are importing Pakistanis who intimidate and screw over other Pakistanis. But this is not just a problem for these people- Caltex, by operating these franchisees which illegally undercut wages thereby put pressure on the market as a whole. This is bound to change the whole business culture of Australia which is destined to become ever more ruthless and exploitative. Once again, the baby boomers are leaving us a completely different Australia than the one in which they were privileged to enjoy.
Mass migration from places like India and Pakistan are already changing our culture in little but radical ways and not for the better
By the way who wins out of this deal? Arseholes like the CEO of Caltex, Julian Segal. Would you buy a car from this creature?

Welcome
I first found out that I was an opinionated arsehole….let’s just say for a very long time. For ages I had annoyed my friends on Facebook and Twitter with my thoughts on everything to modern architecture to music and especially politics. When one of my closest friends suggested that I start a blog I seriously considered it. It was only after someone I had only known for a few months also suggested it that I began to consider it my duty.
I realise that you don’t know me from a bar of soap and it would be boring if I were to lay all my cards on the table at once. Let’s just say that if you’re a vegan who votes Greens you probably won’t derive much utility from my blog
As always I encourage vigorous discussion. Welcome to you all…you waaaal, you waaaaaaal (Fawlty Towers reference)
